Lockout

Yesterday I locked us out of our car. We were parked outside the library. The picture is of Lady Anne and the tow truck driver after he had already gotten the door open. I was silly enough to leave the keys right on the seat when I got out, but at least I still had my wallet with my AAA membership card inside. Let me just say right now how much I love AAA. I booked the roadside assistance request online inside the library, and someone was there within a half hour to open our doors. This would have cost us at least $50 if we had to go directly through the tow company.

Lady Anne had checked out a book from the library, and read it while we were waiting. It was a book of short stories by Edgar Allen Poe. Nothing like a little light cheerful reading to brighten up your day.

There was one good thing that came out of all this: I locked us out the car only a few feet from a Cold Stone Creamery. Lady Anne had chocolate with brownies and almonds mixed in, and I had chocolate with peanut butter, peanut butter cups, and fudge. Oh yeah, that's the stuff...

If I didn't get the one I did, I wanted to try the strawberry shortcake. Have you tried that one?
