Last Thursday I was sitting at the computer in our office. Lady Anne was next to me on the futon reading the new Harry Potter book. We were going about our business when I heard her sniffle.
No big deal; people sniffle all the time. But then I heard another one. And another. I turned around to look at her, and she was absolutely bawling, tears streaming down her face! I tried to cheer her up, but for the next half hour or so after finishing the book, she was inconsolable.
I didn't think the ending was THAT sad. Tragic yes, but not sad. Did anyone else out there cry at the ending?

i know how she feels! i read it and i almost cried. well i was speechless and ian was kinda just quiet because i was so sad. extremely sad! i can't read the last chapter because it's way too painful... sniffle
I cried because I have to wait a few years for the next book to come out.
