While sleeping the other night, I had a dream that I have had several times. In this dream I am back in some random time in college. It is about a week until finals when I suddenly realize that I have not attended any classes at all that semester and have no idea what has been covered in class, much less how to start studying. This dream always scares me, right until the point I wake up and breathe a sigh of relief that I have already graduated. Sometimes I vary it slightly, like the number of classes that I have failed to attend and the amount of time until finals, but for the most part the it is the same. I don't have it too often, maybe three or four times a year, but it is the one recurring dream that I remember most vividly.
What do you suppose it means? Do I have some deep-seated feeling of inadequacy or unpreparedness for the future? Do I have some unresolved issue from my past that is torturing my subconscious? Do I feel guilty for ditching so many classes in college? Do I eat too much spicy food? Paging Dr. Freud...

I think everyone has that dream once in a while. I have that dream at least once a month. It's always college type classes but I'm in highschool.
I don't believe in dream interpretation, but I think the standard explanation for this dream is that you're under stress, consciously or subconsciously. You have committments to make that you're afraid of missing.
