Hanging out with Lady Anne's and my family yesterday before we left on our road trip was pretty fun, although it was sad to see Lady Anne say goodbye to her family. I felt like the guy at the bank that forecloses on people's homes. I'm so happy, though, to finally be starting my new life with my wife!
Our drive from Chicago to St. Louis was pretty uneventful. I have now driven out of the State of Illinois in four different directions, and it hasn't gotten any more exciting.
I was really hoping the Cardinals would be in town, since this is the last year that Busch Stadium will be around, and our hotel is about three blocks away. At least we'll be able to see a Royals game once we get to K.C., so that's good. More to come on that.
Baseball stadiums (stadia?) to which I have already been:
1. Wrigley Field
2. New Comiskey (U.S. Cellular)
3. Skydome (Toronto Blue Jays)
4. Comerica Park (Detroit Tigers)
5. Jacobs Field (Cleveland Indians)
6. Camden Yards (Baltimore Orioles)
7. Petco Park (San Diego Padres, also been to the old Qualcomm)
8. Dodger Stadium
9. Anaheim Stadium
10. Candlestick Park (still want to go to SBC)
Before I die I want to go to every team's park. There are 30 major league teams right now.
Time to go shower and grab some breakfast with the wife. (I have a wife!!) More from Kansas City.
