I've been living on my own pretty much since 1992, and in all those years I've never decorated my place on Christmas. As a single guy, I did not see any good reason to go through all the hassle. I especially didn't see the need to buy a whole Christmas tree. I never celebrated Christmas at my own place, nor did I ever entertain over the holidays.Well, I'm not a single guy anymore, and this year we'll be celebrating Christmas here in San Diego. This year, it was time to have my very first Christmas tree. Since it will only be the two of us, we opted for a slightly smaller tree than normal. You gotta walk before you run, right?

i love christmas trees. i'm the designated christmas tree decorator (if that's what they're called) in my household. all that i want for the tree, i get... merry christmas to you and ate lady! oh, how was talladega?
