Today I participated in small boat training. We took one of the Peleliu's boats and cruised around the piers at the base. We practiced maneuvering the boat around and parking it at the pier.
It was fun, but it wasted about two hours this morning I could have spent getting other work done. One thing I've noticed about being on the ship in port: it's really easy to get through a whole work day without getting much accomplished. I can't decide if that's good or bad.
